The beers (sample list)

"Beer is the most popular long drink in the world, with a history as long and as illustrious as wine, as well as our award winning cask ales we have selection of bottle beers to tempt your palate"
Exmoor Ale (3.8%) Exmoor -
This light chestnut-brown session beer has a fresh, grainy, biscuity nose with a hint of fresh citrus fruit in the background. The palate tingles with a stunning counterplay between grainy, biscuity maltiness and a sprightly citrusy fruity centre and a suggestion of mint. The refreshing finish is a Challenger hop-driven bittersweetness with a lingering dryness, while traces of biscuity maltiness, a whisper of chocolate (from a pinch of chocolate malt in the mash) and fruit also make an appearance. The sort of finish that says ‘have another sip’.
Jail Ale (4.8%) Dartmoor -
A full-bodied, deep golden brown beer, Jail Ale has a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste. It has achieved many top awards in the Premium Bitter categories at numerous beer festivals.
Proper Job (4.5%) St Austell -
Packed full of citrus, pineapple and grapefruit resinous flavours with a fine crisp bitter finish, Proper Job is brewed with a blend of imported American hops.
Tribute (4.2%) St Austell -
Light and zesty pale ale brewed with specially sourced ingredients, including Cornish Gold and Maris Otter malts and hops from Slovenia and the USA. The malty base brings character and flavour and balances the beer’s fresh orange and grapefruit notes.
Rib tickler still cloudy Cider (5%) Sandford Orchard -
Rich aromas of honey and baked apple, ripe and buttery on the palate, with a moreish apple skin flavour, balanced with a crisp, natural acidity.
Erdinger Weissbier (5.3%) German-
Erdinger Weissbier is a classic German wheat beer, or Weissbier with an impressive array of aromas and flavours. Brewed by Erdinger in the heart of Bavaria, this Weissbier shows off a pale blonde body capped by an abundant creamy white head.
Monterey (3.9%) Bath - Full of pine and tropical notes, this pale ale was born but not raised in the USA thanks to its three American sourced hops. Destined for long, lazy afternoons, it’s a refreshing, flavourful and sessionable beer as golden as the sands of Monterey Bay.
